First Dose of Pfizer on 05/18/21 Lot #E4109

United Kingdom

38 yrs old

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was already chronically sick with severely limited life and extremely protective of remaining quality of life I had left.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

This vaccine was supposed to protect me. It’s done the opposite…

My existing condition ME/CFS was triggered by a different virus. I was painfully aware of the dangers of viruses. Getting Covid on top of my existing condition could have been disastrous. I was not aware that viable early treatment alternatives existed because they’ve been censored.

It felt like a vaccine was the only choice.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Less than 48 hours after the vaccine I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. All my existing symptoms became 90% worse but the worst of it was that my legs have become like jelly, and I felt strange pressure (not pain) building inside with any effort. I felt like they would give way underneath me. This has not resolved over eight months on. Each time I try to walk, I relapse and get worse. More trembling, more pressure. Even if I stand for a few seconds, I feel like my legs are trembling. You can’t see it. It doesn’t fit with something like Guillain-Barre or other neurological conditions. That’s why I have no idea where to turn for help or what this is. This is my most pressing issue because it means I can’t even go to the local shop for food. Aside from that my existing condition remains severely worse, my quality of life, what I had of it is completely gone. I have also suffered intermittent chest pain, but it’s never been bad enough to seek help. I have also had a lump under my armpit. Luckily this appears to have gone. My existing medication for orthostatic intolerance no longer works either.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

My life was already severely limited, but I had some minimal quality of life in that I had a few things that kept me alive like being able to go for short walks or occasionally to the shop.

I have got nothing now. I am laying down pretty much all day. Occasionally I go to sit outside on the beach. It’s basically outside my house.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I have not received any diagnosis because I have no idea what to do with this. Everything is complicated by my existing condition. I have no idea what this leg problem is, so I don’t know what to do about it. Eagerly waiting for micro clot testing to become available in the UK. Maybe it’s that. I don’t know what else to do.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I have reported to yellow card, but I haven’t heard anything back.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Nothing whatsoever has helped my symptoms so far. I’ve tried a lot of treatments including hbot and all the usual supplements people take for vaccine injuries. Nothing works.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

Every day I cry and wish I could turn back the time and not have this vaccine. I wish that I could have known that there was an alternative, early treatments. I wish I had known that for me personally, risking Covid would have been the better choice.
